I’m a fairly tech-savy person. I enjoy technology.
I remember when I was in 7th grade my dad bought a wireless card to install into the mother board of our desktop computer. For months he kept putting it off which meant for months I couldn’t get on the internet on that computer. I’m the kind of person who will jump in and try to figure something out by trial and error, doing the research, and asking questions. That goes for me in 7th grade; one day my parents were out of the house and I took it upon myself to take our computer hard drive apart and install the wireless card on my own. I’ve also always had the mentality that it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. That has gotten me in trouble a few times but can you imagine what my dad would have said if his 12 year-old daughter had asked him to take a computer apart? Heck no! So I did it on my own and it worked!
So why am I telling you this? Well, my tech saviness is being tested right now. I just updated the theme I use for this blog and I’m having issues uploading new photos. It won’t. I had this great post planned out for today, it was already written, and my photos were edited. All I had to do was upload them. It’s a very simple process but then they wouldn’t upload.
Instead of fighting it I just filed a work ticket with my theme’s support and now I wait patiently for them to get back with me. That 12 year-old in me is already thinking of the backdoor ways to get my photos up and running in my post while support works out the kinks. But I figured this would be a good time to practice my patience and let them take a look at it.
I hope it gets resolved soon. I reeeeaaaally want to show you some photos!
(I’m sure it won’t take long. Prophoto Blogs has excellent support!)
