Coffee Chat: Let’s go through my makeup bag

Today’s blog post video is brought to you by nap time and a Jesus miracle. I can’t believe that I was actually able to film a coffee chat video! I’m feeling like all things are possible right now.

I’m not a beauty blogger but I enjoy getting my girl talk on and blabbing about makeup and clothes every once in a while. I’m pretty set in my ways when it comes to makeup. I just can’t stand spending money on makeup and beauty product, not liking what I bought, and it end up being a waste of money. So when I find something, I usually stick to it. I do like to experiment, but I only experiment with drug store brands since it’s less of an investment. If I’m going to spend big money on a product, I’ve read copious reviews and done my research, I’ve picked it up and put it down at least five times while at the store, and I’ve waited for a coupon to finally make the purchase.

So in today’s video I’m vulnerably opening up my daily makeup bag and exposing all the junk that makes this face happen every day.

  • Kristen Bullock - It was so weird, I saw your post on Facebook right as I grabbed a cup of coffee. So I felt legit drinking coffee during your coffee chat. Perfect timing! That was fun! My favorite go to make-up is my mascara, (full’n soft maybelline) which I’ve found to be tried and true through the years. . It doesn’t crust, clump, and shed like others I’ve used. I feel like it makes my lashes look more voluminous. I want to get your unii palette! That looks awesome!ReplyCancel

    • hannah_bunker - So glad we could share a semi-legit internet coffee together! 😉 I\’ve used that mascara before and I like it too! The unit palette is awesome – One of the best beauty purchases I\’ve made! ReplyCancel

  • Aunie - the only thing we have in common in regards to makeup bags is our love for sonia’s bags! haha. fun choices and super cute vid 🙂 ReplyCancel

  • Meg O. - Yay! I enjoyed this! Don’t be afraid to use a liquid foundation on oily skin. I HIGHLY recommend the Revlon Colorstay foundation – it’s got great coverage. Probably my holy grail foundation and it’s drugstore! Just if you ever feel like mixing it up 🙂 I’ve never heard of unii palettes, but I am a huge fan of the z palettes for depotting stuff and throwing them in there. In fact, I think it’s time I order one. Haha. Oh, and if you’re looking for cheap brushes that perform well, I recommend checking out Coastal Scents! Not as good as Sigma but they are still really great! Anyway, enjoyed watching! You get on with your low-maintenance DIY self!!ReplyCancel

    • hannah_bunker - Ooo! Thanks for all the insider tips! I\’m going to check them all out! ReplyCancel
